Water Phantom with Manual Depth Dose Appratus

Making economical, fast and accurate water phantom for dose measurement of external radiotherapy beams is always challenging.

Water Pahntom developed at Sukriti has a tank of 38cm x 38cm and 38cm made of ~10mm thick acrlylic with water drain. It has horizontal scales on two faces to place the chamber on central axis or off-axis position for primary beam measurement

Manual Depth Dose appratus is constructed of brass and acrylic which is attached to one of the side walls of the water tank.Top mounted manual crank allows exact vertical position with 1mm resolution.

Water tank is small enough for quick set up yet provide large enough data for clinical evaluation as per dosimetry protocol.

Acrylic probe holder for micro and farmer chambers are provided with the water phantom.

Calligraphic Addresses

Personalized invitation addresses in today's age of computer and printers is great surprise to receiver. When receiver holds the envelope in his/her hands, one can feel the love and warmth of the sender. It may look old fashioned but it has nostalgic value for rest of the life.

Above: Samples of invitation addresses. I prefer Italics with or without fluorishes.

One can feel the care, thoughts and effort which go in writing calligraphy, truly it is like jewels on paper, indeed timeless and precious.

I have experienced joy and surprise in the eyes of receivers when ever I have given calligraphic art works as gift, memoir or souvenir. It was quite a surprise for me when my son Arpit studying in Medical school in Maharashtra insisted I write calligraphically a poem (Miles to go before I sleep...) so that he keeps himself motivated and feel our presence around him.
